Changelog
What's new in DISCO
Internal Track Notes are now a conversation
Published: 7/27/2026 Update
Reply to an internal note, and drop in a timecode to point someone at an exact moment in the track. Timecodes are clickable, so whoever reads the note jumps straight to the part you're talking about.
Notes support rich text formatting such as bold, italic, underline, lists and links.
You can leave a thumbs up on any note, for the times you agree but don't need to reply.
Internal Notes and Client Notes are now on their own tabs, so its clear what's meant for your team, and what's meant for your clients.
Find it all on the Notes tab of any track.
Share briefs by assigning a URL
Published: 7/13/2026 Update
Briefs can now be shared via URL. Assign a URL to a contact/past brief recipient, mailing list, email address, and more. Those URLs can be sent across any external channel - including SMS and personal email - in addition to the Briefs flow within DISCO. Control access to the URL in-DISCO at any time.
Supervisor accounts can generate URLs via the Briefs section on the left navigation.
DISCO Bulk Uploader v1.04
Published: 7/13/2026 Update
The DISCO Uploader is faster and easier to use, following a complete rebuild from the ground up.
Managing your active upload list is easier, with a cleaner view of what's uploading, complete, or waiting.
Windows 7 and Linux are no longer supported.
Track info pane expanded
Published: 6/25/2026 Update
Track information now stacks beneath the artwork in the info pane, giving long track titles the room they need to display in full. The star button is also back — now always visible in the pane rather than appearing only on hover.
More control over share link expiry
Published: 6/16/2026 Update
Share links now expire at a time you choose, not just at midnight UTC. Pick a date and time, select your timezone, and the expiry displays in your local time in Playlist Settings.

Update on streaming Stats
Published: 3/16/2026 Fix
We’ve updated how streaming stats are calculated.
Streaming totals now include all playback activity, regardless of how it’s triggered — including direct waveform clicks.
As a result, you may see an increase in stream counts from today. No listening behaviour has changed — this update simply ensures all playback activity is consistently captured.

Share tracks and playlists with QR codes
Published: 3/9/2026 Feature
You can now generate a QR code for any track or playlist directly from the share modal. In the Copy URL tab, click the QR code icon next to any URL to either download it as a PNG or copy it to your clipboard - perfect for printing on posters, posting on social, or dropping into an email footer.
Each QR code links to the corresponding share page, so scanning it opens the track or playlist in the browser. Works for all URL types in the share modal.

API Improvements
Published: 9/25/2025 Update
We've made powerful updates to the DISCO API to give you more control and flexibility.
Our updated search endpoint now lets you find tracks based on creation or modification date (on, before, or since a specified date). You can also use the search endpoint to identify tracks with missing external_id data.
In addition, API calls to the share endpoint can now attribute a share to a specific person. You can override the default API user and specify the actual human who initiated the share, ensuring your sharing activity is accurately credited.
